Tuesday the 19th, This is the John B. Laneri House, I parked the truck at the side of the house and went to the front to take a Photo of the House. I saw a Historical marker on the front porch wall. Walking up the stairs out of the corner of my eye a big “No Trespassing” loomed. I thought well I will quickly snap a shot and be gone. I got caught, a guy was sitting at a desk inside, I motioned that I wanted to take a photo of the marker. He got up and came to the door and unlocked it. I was looking behind me for the quickest escape route. He opened the door and said would you like to come in for a tour? You bet I would. Went to the truck and told Neva that we were going on a tour of the house. Our tour guide Mike, gave us the very interesting tour. It is now a Law Firm of Candace Taylor. At 902 South Jennings Ave is the John B. Laneri House, built 1904. Laneri , immigrated to the United States in 1873 and ended up in Fort Worth in 1883. He had a variety of business ventures and in 1905 , he established the Macaroni Company.
